Hi, I’m Heather H. Enciso (she/her).
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for your healing journey. I understand that the stigma surrounding mental health can create barriers to seeking help, but reaching out for support is a powerful act of self-care and courage.
My therapeutic approach is humanistic and highly collaborative. Our work will focus on your values, priorities, and goals. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in varied settings—including psychiatric hospitals, medical emergency departments, and an HIV clinic—providing care to individuals facing complex emotional, medical, and identity-related challenges.
I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, identity exploration, and life transitions. I employ evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness, all crafted to foster healing, empowerment, and emotional resilience.
